💜 Our Scentsy Story
Our Scentsy journey began in 2008 with a simple invitation to a Scentsy party. Mark and I were big candle lovers at the time, so we went in curious—but we walked away completely surprised. The very first bar we smelled stopped us in our tracks. The fragrance was incredible, and we remember thinking, “Why doesn’t everyone use this?” The fact that we could enjoy amazing scents without a flame, smoke, or soot immediately made sense to us.
We quickly became loyal customers. Scentsy fit our lifestyle—beautiful products, long-lasting fragrance, and a safer, more affordable option for our home. What we didn’t realize then was that Scentsy offered so much more than products.
On January 27, 2010, I decided to take a chance and join Scentsy as a Consultant. I wasn’t looking to build a huge business—I simply wanted to share something I loved and earn a little extra income. What I found instead was an opportunity that grew with me. My husband saw the potential right away and stepped in to support me, helping with orders, labeling, and packing shipments. Together, we realized this was something we could truly build as a team.
By June of that same year, Mark officially became my business partner and a Scentsy Consultant entity. Scentsy became more than a side hustle—it became a shared goal, a shared dream, and a business we could shape around our lives. MOST Important however, was this was something we could do together
Through Scentsy, we’ve gained flexibility, personal growth, and a community that genuinely supports one another. We’ve met incredible people, developed leadership skills, and helped others realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined. Watching new consultants gain confidence, earn income, and create something of their own has become one of the most rewarding parts of our journey. Weather its personal growth, the fun and challenge of earning an incentive, like our trips to Disney, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, Scentsy has added value to our lives and helped us do thing we normally would not have thought of doing or traveling to places we have been.
